Online registration for CYO and parish athletics programs

By mysports.io · Updated October 26, 2026

mysports.io was built by sports fans with league management experience, for programs like yours: a few hundred families, five to seven sports a year, volunteer boards, grade-based eligibility, and a treasurer who has to balance the books in September. If that sounds like your parish, this is what it does and what it costs.

What a parish program actually needs

  • Grade-based eligibility. CYO leagues run by grade, sometimes by birth date. Each season sets its rule and the site enforces it before a family registers, not after.
  • One account per family, across every sport. A parent adds each child once. Volleyball in the fall, basketball in the winter, track in the spring: the same children, the same account, no re-typing. A second parent or a grandparent can be added to the family and register too.
  • Cash and check alongside cards. Plenty of parish families pay the athletic director in the parking lot. Any season can allow it; families are told; the admin records it; the roster shows it next to card payments.
  • The questions your league needs. Jersey size, parish, school, medical notes, a waiver acknowledgement: each season has its own questions, and the answers come out in the roster export.
  • A roster the coach can use. Exported to Excel with every child, guardian, email and phone, in a minute.
  • Refunds and withdrawals. A family asks; the board approves or declines; card refunds go back to the card through the club's own Stripe account, cash refunds are recorded.
  • A note to every family. Practice moved, picture day, fees due: one email to everyone registered for a season, with replies going to the club.

What it costs

$1 for the first three months, then $99.99 a year for the program. Card payments go into the parish's or the booster club's own Stripe account at Stripe's plain rate (2.9% + 30¢); we add no per-child fee and show no ads. For a 150-family program that's about $2,000–2,600 a year less than the platforms built for travel clubs, and about $900–1,600 a year less for the families than the "free" platforms that charge them per registration.

What it doesn't do

No scheduling, no team chat, no app to install, no background checks. Most dioceses handle safe-environment compliance (VIRTUS and the like) themselves, and nine years of real-world use of the original mysports.io showed scheduling and messaging modules that nobody used. The site does registration and money, and does them properly. Families use it from a phone in a browser.

If your diocese assigns a platform

Some dioceses and CYO leagues hand every parish a platform (Sports Pilot, Sports Connect and TeamSideline all appear in various dioceses' guidance). If yours does, mysports.io may not be your choice to make. If it leaves the decision to the parish, or if your league's platform is Sports Connect, which is being retired in 2027, it is.

We'll move your data for you

Export your families, players and registrations from your current platform, send us the file, and we set your club up on mysports.io with the history intact — accounts, children, past seasons, what was paid. No re-typing by your families.

Who runs it

Sports fans with years of league management experience and Midwestern values: no investors, no ads, and an email that gets answered. That's why the price is what it is.
