Terms of use

Effective October 26, 2026 · mysports.io is operated by Small Planet Online, LLC

The short version: mysports.io is software that clubs use to run registrations and take payments. The club owns its data and makes its own decisions about registrations, fees and refunds. We don't hold anyone's money. Clubs pay $1 for the first three months, then $99.99 a year, and can cancel any time. We'll do our best to keep the site up and will tell you when we can't.

1. The service

mysports.io provides online registration, payment handling through Stripe, rosters, and related tools for youth sports organizations ("clubs"). Families use it to register children with a club and pay the club. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

2. Accounts

You must be an adult to create an account. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Parents and guardians are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter about their children. Club admins are responsible for who they give admin access to.

3. The club's data belongs to the club

Everything a club collects through mysports.io, including its families, children, registrations, answers and payment records, belongs to the club. We process it to provide the service and for no other purpose. A club can export its roster at any time and, if it leaves, can ask for a complete copy of its data and for its data to be deleted. Any person can ask us to remove their data as described in the privacy policy.

4. Money

mysports.io never holds funds. Card payments go directly from the family to the club's own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms; the club is Stripe's customer for those payments, and Stripe's fees apply. Cash and check payments are made to the club directly. A registration fee, a refund, a withdrawal or a waived fee is the club's decision, made between the club and the family; mysports.io provides the tools to record it and isn't a party to it. If a family has a question about a charge or a refund, it goes to the club.

5. What clubs pay

A club pays mysports.io $1 for its first three months, then $99.99 a year, billed to the card on file through Stripe. Clubs that were on mysports.io before this pricing keep their existing arrangement. A club can cancel at any time from "Manage billing" on its admin page; cancelling stops the next renewal, and the club keeps access until the end of the period it has paid for. We don't charge families anything, and we don't add fees to registrations.

6. Acceptable use

Use the site for running or taking part in youth sports registration. Don't try to access data that isn't yours, don't use the site to send spam or anything unlawful, and don't try to break it. Club admins may email the families registered with their club through the site; they may not use those addresses for anything the families didn't sign up for.

7. Availability, and what we don't promise

We work hard to keep mysports.io up, especially during registration season, and we tell clubs when something goes wrong. But the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to a club for anything arising from the service is limited to what the club paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

8. Ending things

You can close your account at any time by asking us. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and we'll give notice unless the situation makes that impossible. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give clubs at least 90 days' notice and a complete export of their data.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll post the new version here with a new date and tell club admins by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.

10. Disputes and contact

If something goes wrong, email [email protected] first; we'll try to sort it out directly. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Small Planet Online, LLC is organized.
